In Indonesia, TDI positioned another client for protracted negotiations with the government through a stream of real-time intelligence on the rent-seeking motivations of various officials.  Through this effort, TDI assisted the client’s key decision makers in complex negotiations and created decision-making clarity in an extremely opaque and politically hazardous operating environment.

To date, the largest organization we have designed an intelligence collection program for is a major multinational company operating in Indonesia.  The client was experiencing a host of security problems ranging from internal and external theft of supplies to a low-grade insurgency being fought in the region where they operated.  TDI provided a top-to-bottom assessment of all aspects of the company’s security operations, personnel, and procedures, producing a two-volume report addressing business continuity issues, personnel safety, evacuation planning, theft reduction, FCPA risk issues, and intelligence collection procedures.  The final evaluation included a 77-page report detailing specific recommendations and actions to be taken to correct flawed procedures and reduce enterprise-wide risk.
