Pre-acquisition Due Diligence on Mining Asset in Western Australia
A private equity firm contacted TDI to evaluate the compliance, reputational, and political risks associated with the acquisition of a mine. The mine was located in Western Australia and had a related commodities trading operation. TDI’s due diligence efforts included evaluating critical supply chain and intermediary relationships for the mining operations, as well as assessing the know-your-customer (KYC) risks associated with mineral customers and individual trading counterparties.
