We investigated the widespread counterfeiting of a common pharmaceutical product in China providing our client the evidence they needed to initiate prosecution.
TDI was engaged to investigate the widespread counterfeiting of a common pharmaceutical product in China. Using a network of local sources in a major Chinese port city, we located the facility in which the counterfeit product was being manufactured. Because the client required samples of the counterfeit product that could be traced directly to the factory, we registered a company in India to facilitate a deal to purchase product from the Chinese factory. The Indian front company successfully negotiated the purchase and shipment of counterfeit product that the client was able to use as evidence. We also provided Chinese authorities with customs, financial, and other documentation proving the link between the counterfeit product and the factory producing it, allowing the client to initiate prosecution.
